We are reviving this domain originally registered in 2016, a year in which democracy was failing.
So we thought we should be making it ourselves.

We are non-partisan
Attending the DNC in 2016 as a delegate pledged to Bernie Sanders, elected from NY CD14 was the second most depressing experience of my lifetime. I later petitioned for signatures to get AOC on the ballot for CD 14. In 2026, we are employing a teach the teacher model to change public policy. Join us to explore how communities fund our teachers.

Tool makers and tool use trainers
We are using the tool Loomio for consensus building and proposal development. Join the discussion as to whether municipalities could and should prohibit organizations with murderers from being able to rent a room within their legal boundaries.
How to join the discussion

If you are not already a member of our group, you will have to click “Join Group” which will appear at the bottom of the page, as you scroll down.

The next dialog appears after you have clicked the “Join Group” button previously. You will need to say something about why you would like to join. Then the button “asked to join” will become enabled. Click that button and then be patient for us to review your reason for wanting to join and responding to you.
A reaction to ICE killing people
- Are there things we can do locally?
- Can we pressure hotels to not rent the rooms?
- Let’s explore proposals from the people
- Join the discussion as to whether municipalities could and should prohibit organizations with murderers from being able to rent a room.
Here is how Loomio works
Creative Commons
Instead of copyright, we encourage licenses that enable share ability. Video hosting providers like Vimeo make this easy. We could even create TV channels and radio like stations for smart speakers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Open Collective?
Open Collective is a platform that helps communities raise and spend money transparently. Each project has a public page showing its purpose, funding, expenses, and updates.

What does my contribution support?
Your contribution supports the project you choose, based on the project’s stated goals, budget, and updates.
- 97.1% supports the project
- 2.9% supports nonprofit infrastructure needed to administer and sustain projects responsibly
Why is 2.9% set aside?
We call it Commons Stewardship. Digital public infrastructure requires reliable support systems — administration, compliance, accountability, and shared operational capacity.
This 2.9% helps support:
- nonprofit compliance and reporting
- accounting and financial administration
- project fund management and disbursement
- receipts and documentation
- operational infrastructure and stewardship
- project support, guidance, and transparency systems
It’s designed to keep the commons durable — not to extract value.
Our initial project is to build Community Internet (community owned infrastructure networks).
